The colors are brilliant and they mix easily and beautifully with water. Drawings can be blended with a wet brush; or you can use them directly on paper that has been soaked in water. They are also ideal for monoprints- simply create a drawing on plexiglass wet your watercolor paper or printmaking paper lay the wet paper over the drawing on plexiglass and burnish with a wooden spoon. The wet paper picks up the Neocolor drawing from the plexiglass. An amazing and fun to use medium! Neocolor II sets come in convenient reusable tins.
